Making Metal Perform:
Experience and Approach
Laser welding was in its infancy when Iowa Laser began
offering the service. It was used primarily for exotic applications
where no other welding process would be appropriate.
Today, laser welding is a full-fledged part of the metalworking
industry, and regularly produces welds for common items.
Laser welding provides a strong
fusion weld without the use of filler material.
With custom lasers to develop alternative approaches,
Iowa Laser's engineers bring twenty years of laser welding
experience to your project. Contact

Did you know?
In 1986, Iowa Laser's Engineering staff
developed a laser welding process to enclose *LIVE*
explosive reactors on the Patriot missiles eventually used
during the 1st Gulf War.
Those engineers are still here.
